Procedures
Procedures either company or Operating: What are they and what makes them different from some of the chapters above. Procedures can be explained very simply, if a company employs a new member of staff in a role he / she should be able to read a procedure manual which will explain their duties for their role as well as the company procedures and how they interface with the task they have been asked to complete. When people write Procedures they often make them so complicated that you need a degree to understand them, this is not a good thing for your staff, in fact it can cause serious morale problems because Procedures can leave your staff feeling inadequate.
All of D & B Consultant’s procedures: are taken directly from the place of work against the task concerned. In other words we write the procedure while watching and talking to the person currently performing the task |
