Company Policies, why bother: A company policy can often be the reason you win or lose an Employment Tribunal, in fact any legal court case your company may decide to engage in. The reason for this is that often in disputes a statement made on paper and signed off is what the legal system will need. Companies often have not got these and wonder why they lose such cases even though they know that within their company a particular policy is how everybody operates but because it is not written and signed off they lose. The other thing that is noticeable about Company Policies is that the staff know where they stand, there is NO GREY areas everybody knows what the answer is to questions they may have over a period of time.

Any policy we implement for yourselves would be pre-checked by our legal team before we signed them over to you the customer. Although it has to be said that for some of the more unusual policies we will get legal advice, however the policy often requires a test case to decide in law what is right or wrong.
